⚖️I filed a formal appeal with India's Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) on May 10 against YouTube under the IT Amendment Rules 2026⚖️
Here's why it got to this point👇:
▶March 17: My spiritual & meditation channel (113K subscribers) demonetized for "Inauthentic Content"
▶March 19: After a human review of my exact creative process, YouTube reinstated my channel - setting a clear precedent that my workflow meets their standards.
▶Apr 28: Flagged again for the EXACT same workflow
▶Apr 28–May 1: Case 4-2479000040828 - multiple agents (Ash, Czar, Arjay) sending: "Under Review" → Bot Rejection → "Under Review" → Bot Rejection → "Under Review" → Bot Rejection. Not one email named a specific video or gave a specific reason. One agent even wrote, "It LOOKS LIKE our team reviewed" -a legal decision requires CERTAINTY, not speculation.
▶May 3: Human specialist "Friday" (Case 6-8718000041235) re-validated my workflow & merged all evidence to the first case ID(4-2479000040828)
▶May 10: @TeamYouTube publicly said, "We'll pass this along" That was 4 days ago. Still nothing.
▶May 14(IST): Day 16. No update. No email. No resolution.
▶3 Case IDs. 15+ days. Zero specific reason given. Zero named video. And my Earn tab STILL shows "Start Appeal - Must submit by May 19" - proving YouTube's own system contradicts their rejection emails.
⚖️Under IT Amendment Rules 2026 (G.S.R. 120(E), effective Feb 20, 2026), Rule 3(2)(a)(i) legally required YouTube to resolve my grievance within 7 days. The deadline was May 5, 2026. Today is May 14(IST 1:55 AM as i write this) - 9 days in legal violation.

₹69,647 ($736.96) in April earnings withheld!
GAC filed on May 10 (15463/2026)✅ @GoI_MeitY@AshwiniVaishnaw
NCH Docket 9270536 active ✅
This is now a legal matter. ⚖️
If YouTube operates in your country, they are bound by your local laws. You don't have to accept bot loops.
16 days. $736.96 (approx ₹69,647) withheld. A government appeal was filed.
This exact workflow was already reviewed by a human specialist and reinstated on March 19.
YouTube's own team confirmed my content is legitimate. What changed? Nothing - except the bot flagged me again.
If this can happen twice in 40 days to a channel that was already manually cleared, what stops it from happening every month?
Do creators have to run a legal campaign every time a bot makes a mistake?

YouTube is TAKING my hard-earned money, and I’m done with the "copy-paste" excuses. 💀
Reason: “Inauthentic Content” (The SECOND hit in 40 days)
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE @TeamYouTube:
MARCH 17: My channel got its first "Inauthentic Content" hit.
MARCH 19: It was REINSTATED after a human reviewed my appeal video, where I explained my entire original script creation, manual audio editing, and video assembly process.
APRIL 28: I got hit AGAIN for the exact same workflow. Only this time, the "Video Appeal" button was missing from my dashboard. I had to appeal through a text form, manually sharing the same video link and process that you already verified and approved 40 days ago. I haven't changed a single thing.
How was my process "Authentic" on March 19th but "Inauthentic" on April 28th? I have been part of the Dedicated YouTube Partner Manager program since 2024. Are you guys taking a creator's hard-earned money, keeping 100% of the ad revenue for yourself, while labelling the content "inauthentic" just to avoid paying me? You’ll take the profit, but you won't give a Managed Partner a 5-minute human review?
THE JOKE OF A "REVIEW" PROCESS:
The Disrespect: Your support can't even address my name right, throughout the email calling me "Guarav" (it’s GAURAV) while sending copy-paste rejections. MOCKING A CREATOR IS A NEW LOW!!!
The Loop: First, I get a human reply to my appeal(28th April-29th April). Then, to the same thread, an automated "does not comply" copy-paste template. Upon asking, a human says, "We are looking at it." Then that SAME human sends another "does not comply" copy-paste template. SERIOUSLY????????
Ignored Proof (April 28): In my form appeal and every single email to support, I provided the unlisted appeal video where I prove my manual process. The view count has not increased by even ONE single view. This means your "internal team" is rejecting me without even looking at the proof. How can you claim a review was done if the video evidence hasn't been watched?
I am a professional creator and founder who has invested years into building Quantum Yogi Wisdom. You already human-verified this channel 40 days ago after my first "Inauthentic Content" strike on March 17th, confirming then that my process was valid. Reversing that decision now with copy-paste replies is a total failure of your own review system.
I am a professional creator and founder who has invested years into building Quantum Yogi Wisdom.
Like i said, you already human-verified and REINSTATED this exact workflow on March 19. Why is the same process being flagged a second time? Since my appeal video remains unwatched, I have now provided a fresh SCREEN RECORDING and screenshots of my entire process to the same ticket thread. You have the evidence! stop ignoring it.
Stop the automated loops. Just let a real human review THIS!!
Because the moment someone looks at it closely, this decision falls apart.

@YouTubeCreators Reminder to take a break and stop using AI to demonetize small creators for “inauthentic content.” Thank you for your attention to this matter.
🚨🚨🚨HERE IS THE EVIDENCE THAT YOUTUBE LIES AND REFUSES!!! TO HELP THEIR CREATORS UNTIL YOU MENTION THAT THEY VIOLATE LAW🚨🚨🚨
@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators
YouTube demonetized my channel for 'inauthentic content.' On the support chat, they repeatedly lied, claiming it was a 'final decision.' However, as soon as I mentioned that this violates DSA (Digital Services Act) regulations, the employee’s attitude suddenly changed, and I was connected to a supervisor.
That person again falsely claimed the decision was final. Only after I pointed out the DSA violations once more did they suddenly state they could escalate the case to an internal team for a manual human review.
After waiting a week and a half for feedback, I received another rejection—a generic template with no specific justification. This is a direct violation of the DSA transparency rules. I suspect that no human actually reviewed it, as my appeal video still has 0 views.
Now, I can’t even access the support chat anymore. While I have already filed a formal complaint with the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), I still demand a fair and thorough human review of my channel regarding monetization. If the channel is truly not compliant with monetization policies, I request a detailed justification for this stance.
I will keep you guys updated.

Yeah… if only appeal videos got the same rewatch treatment.
Some of us are uploading fresh appeals and they’re getting rejected with 0 views — guess those didn’t make the “watch list”
they need to get the bots out.
In my case, I create lore breakdowns based on books. I initially used fan art for illustration, but after facing issues, I switched to using generated visuals just to stay compliant — and still ended up getting flagged for “inauthentic content.”
So it feels like even when creators try to adapt, the system isn’t clearly distinguishing between original work and what it considers non-compliant.
There really needs to be more clarity and proper human review in cases like this.
#stopstealingfromcreators
I can pretty much confirm now that youtube used ai moderation not only for flagging down the channels but also for the appeals and also in some of the cases of internal reviews, it is really frustrating to go through this thing and it is only hurting creators at a big margin, especially hard working animators who write their own concept and animate themselves or with their team.
@YouTube@YouTubeCreators@nealmohan stop this useless ai moderation for sensitive stuff, creators don't deserve this treatment.

Milly Alcock and Emma D’Arcy (both playing Rhaenyra at different ages) were told not to speak to each other before filming their scenes. The director wanted to avoid them accidentally copying each other’s mannerisms.
