This is why Lewis and Mercedes didn't take their Abu Dhabi 2021 Appeal to court btw.
They were clearly in the right and had a very good case for winning, just like Pierre, but in the end winning like that is just garbage. You lose out on basically all the stuff that makes the moment of winning so great. Very reminiscent of Morocco and their AFCON.
I think the only thing worse than winning a title in court, even if it's totally correct, is winning a title through an FIA donation.
Besides, Mercedes thought they had another rocketship on their hands for 2022 so they thought they'd just win the eighth right then instead.
I'm happy they didn't go through with it either way as we wouldn't have gotten Silverstone 2024 and Lewis in red otherwise, and everyone on the planet knows that Lewis was the rightful winner anyways.
Congratulations to Pierre though, it's a completely deserved podium and Alpine are right to fight for every point.
Still can’t believe my wife made us pay our rent way ahead of time and stocked up the house with food, prepaid meter unlimited, just before we started wedding expenses 😂 😂
My non-negotiables for planning a wedding are:
- We must set aside money for a foreign honeymoon trip
- Set aside money for a full month's expenses
- No loan, not even a kobo.
6lack released the new album last week, I made a concious effort not to give the album a listen because I knew I was about to have a change of scenery and want/hope the song be attached to the new scenery.
Was it hard to do? Yes.
Was it worth it? Well, we're about to find out.
For someone who has one year left on his contract, I think £35m is a bit high, would have preferred ~£25m.
But at least it shows we've learnt from the Mount transfer.
Breaking: #mufc have agreed a deal with Atalanta to sign Ederson for £35m plus £3m in add-ons and is expected to be completed before the end of the week. Ederson is viewed as a long-term Casemiro’s replacement [@TimesSport]
It was a beautiful scene at Old Trafford yesterday ❤️
One of those moments that reminds you why football means so much.
Easily one of the best videos from yesterday.
