What are your thoughts on Chris Christie's words to Trump supporters in Florida?
Does he have a point?
“Now look, every one of those boos, everyone one of those cat calls, everyone one of those yells will not … solve one problem we face in this country. Your anger against the truth is reprehensible.”
“When you think about the problems that our country and this world is facing, when you think about that, this type of pettiness … is beneath … the process of electing a president.”
“The problem is … you fear the truth. You want to shout down any voice that says anything different than what you want to hear. And you can continue to do it. And believe me … it doesn’t bother me one bit.”
@Trumpernickel@Thingskidsdraw@snailtracks@MZHemingway@LandonHall But seriously we have heard for so long that biden has broken the law but when pressed with a direct question the answer has always been - no we don’t have any evidence that he has done anything illegal. Over and over and over.
A second Trump term would be a nonstop coup against the Constitution that Trump promised to “terminate” last year. It’s what Sec 3 of the 14th Amendment was designed to prevent by disqualifying those who swear to support the Constitution but then trash it

@Acyn The key words here: “our people.” If they stopped flaunting their lawless-behavior, the government would ignore them. The new Speakers first tenet, as posted on X, is rule of law. But in his mind (and apparently your too), it applies to everyone except Republicans.
I've called on IRS to strengthen oversight of tax-exempt hospitals that use predatory tactics to squeeze money from low-income patients who qualify for free care. I'm glad the administration is taking these steps to protect patients from mounting debt.

@RBReich What else can we expect when SCOTUS ruled “Corporations are People?” That allowed corporations to donate to political candidates. There you go. Roots of our political corruption. It’s all there.
@NikkiHaley Communist China wants a land/sea grab; same as Putin. I doubt it wants war; it would be counter productive and toss everything into disarray. Wake up to probability; leaders do that. Joe’s a good example; follow his lead.
@RBReich The GOP has obstructed elections of our Democratic Republics for decades: Gerrymandered voting districts. Election interference by TFG, Bush-2, Bush-1, Regan and Nixon; and still, our Democratic Republic moves forward.
@kylenabecker Whatever the amount, it’s peanuts compared to two billion dollars Jared Kushner got from Saudi Arabia and tens of millions TFG got from Putin. It’s clear R-lawbreakers have figured out how to monetize a government job.
