WebAssembly is enabling a new paradigm of web development, and we want Kotlin developers to get all the benefits it has to offer!
Don’t miss this insightful #GoogleIO session with a great demo of the Jetsnack app, built with Compose Multiplatform for Web by @sebi_io ⬇️
The third day in a row GitHub is having issues. I don't remember the service being *this* unstable, ever.
One incident? Happens.
Two in a row? Bad luck.
Three in a row - what's going on?
I thought I would try something new! I'm experimenting in creating some easy-to-digest, visual resources for learning cloud concepts. This week: Region vs. Zone.

@davefarley77 Ah, that makes sense. Thanks! I’ve spent many an hour trying to mock 3rd party libs. 😅 I can see your reasoning. Mocking 3rd party libs takes up time and also tightly couples your tests to the lib’s interface.
I created APIButler, an #AI-powered agent used to help generate #backend applications based on a description from a user, using an existing project template. https://t.co/yWbppIZnZJ #chatgpt
@mjackson Personally, I don’t feel it’s a bad principle. It serves a need. I create my software app, and I (mostly) don’t have to worry about the OS underneath. I feel like Docker has largely met this need in recent years.
We have gotten a ton of feedback from developers around our data usage policy and lack of platform stability. Today, we are launching a new data usage policy that opts API users out of having their data used to train OpenAI models by default: https://t.co/eOEMvV0OVQ
@m0un10_ @ice_panel @sschutten @structurizr Shameless plug, but I’m currently working on an open-source diagram-as-code tool, where you define your architecture model in a YAML file. Would be super appreciative of any feedback! https://t.co/sR60YcbkVS
I've been working on a new #opensource project! #ArchDoc is a tool for quickly defining & visualizing software architecture. Don't just diagram your architecture. Model it! Give it a try and let me know what you think! #software#architecture https://t.co/sR60YcbkVS
@javavvitch That’s a fair point. If it’s code I don’t own, I don’t think I get to just throw it in ChatGPT. However, when I need to generate code for integrating with a public API, I don’t see any reason not to use it. 😄
@allenholub Wow. I think the worrisome thing is not so much, “will society begin to replace judges with AI?”, but more so, “do AI tools give humans a temptation to defer hard and weighty decisions to generative models?”
