Again: If you believe that coaches are infinitely more valuable, then you should believe they both sides deserve access to the free market.
“Different markets” is a tell that you think one party’s wages should be suppressed and one should not.
@questionableway I mean do you expect the court to rule against Trump on any culture war issue? It’s not like precedent or logic or shame have kept the Robert’s court in check. Also Gorsuch has given up on trans rights, it’s actually pathetic
What you’re left with is, no jobs, low productivity industries, resource extraction, expensive goods and services, and a population that doesn’t want to subsidize you anymore because you spent the last decade being unhinged lunatics
Sorry but rural communities are just fucked. You can’t provide quality services because nobody lives there. Good luck getting doctors, teachers, or care workers to move there. Good luck getting blue cities to subsidize rural areas after a decade+ of MAGA bullshit.
Sarah isn’t wrong but I think it’s worth considering the counter argument: Biden did try this formula (prioritizing working class wage gains and full employment, expanding healthcare, ending Afghanistan, nearly securing huge immigration bill before Trump torpedoed it). There are many reasons why but rural voters HATED it.
5. Most young people immediately leave for better economic and social opportunities
6. In many parts of the country, these areas have just pissed off their cash cow major cities. The anti-urban, punitive politics of the GOP has not been helpful.
@steeplymast@HeerJeet Yeah but Trump would continue to throw a hissy fit and attempt to undermine the deal. Trump is unreliable and Carney has all the cards. Why give an unreliable asshole an out when you don’t have to?
They hate us and want to desecrate the things we love. It's not complicated. They understand the power of toppling the monuments of their enemies. Do we?
least discussed part of the French Revolution is how being the first army to say “what if we promoted officers on merit rather than just handing them off to rich guys’ failsons” really set up Napoleon to just show up like an SEC team playing an FCS schedule
@AdamBojak I’m not a lawyer, but this makes no sense. It’s not parody, it’s very clearly using copyrighted material and trained on copyrighted material. The user is monetizing it, and a website is hosting it. Why isn’t NBC suing Twitter, this user and whatever company made the model??
