@hareshkhemani@ashishpol86@volklub All cars before they are released are usually tested with camouflage. This is standard operating procedure usually used to prevent design elements from leaking out. In this case, the idea might have been to attract less and/or unwanted attention.
@4everwalkalone@alex_avoigt It is up to the owner to figure out. If they 'need' a truck, have the money for one and use it in places that can handle it, they are welcome. I live in a city near Amsterdam and one of my nienghbors neighbours has a Ford F-150.
@YunTaTsai1@a_meta4@nadeesha99@timzaman Till the time you hard working fellows figure these things out, I will be using the S3XY commander to
1. disable auto wipers in AP
2. continuous AP (something that's standard on the E-GMP platform)
@ways2web@joehansen@alex_avoigt Half the world cannot use parking assistance, parking spots are never marked in those places. In places like India the first thing people disable in their cars is ADAS (if available), because ADAS in those countries causes more accidents than people driving manually
@fritz_rauer@alex_avoigt Last time I was there I skipped this one and went to Boblingen. The photos on Google Maps are a mix showing one with canoly but many others without. The Boblingen had better things to see when charging :).
@AlejandroEV66@alex_avoigt Cost of making the car went down. Radars and USS sensors removed. Additional inventory discounts are on a handful of cars, with just 15 or so days of inventory at Tesla vs many times more than this at other auto makers
@wilwen2@alex_avoigt One of the things many Indians do when driving a car equipped with ADAS is to turn those features off. You need to see how Indians drive to understand that robotaxis have no future there.
