According to the latest information from New York, Al Burhan’s sponsors, Saudi Arabia especially, are putting pressure on the US government to give him the visa that was initially denied. Why would they do that? Al Burhan has used chemical weapons against his own people. Then he refused to let in independent investigators and buried the evidence. Should a man like that speak at the UN? No, he should be prosecuted by international courts. Saddam, Assad—both were bombed because of the use of chemical weapons. After the US denied his visa, there is massive pressure from the sponsors of the Sudanese war, MBS, Erdogan and Sisi, to let Al Burhan speak at the UN. It is clear now: those who make money out of that war have no interest in the war being finished. According to Reuters, Al Burhan was asked to sign a ceasefire in order to speak at the UN, but he refused. When his sponsors of war heard about that, they came together to beg Trump not to stop the war. They will not be able to sell weapons, of course, and will lose their pawn. What a disgrace. The US should not fall under pressure!
