Yes, and with good reasons. Old house wiring was often knob and tube, with zero grounding. After that, most homes were grounded to the galvanized water pipes coming into the house, so while grounded... youre now connected to a larger grid and a larger exposure. Modern day wiring requires two 8-12 feet rods driven into the ground and connected to your electric panels ground.

Something that hasnt been seen since 1966, just showed back up in "monitoring" somehow after we "monitored" it for 60 years and didnt find any, now we cut funding and its magocally there? Lol

The odds of it showing up are in the billions, unless the "monitoring" was all a farce and it was always still there. Or... someone planted it as evidence to keep the funding flowing.

Either way it looks bad. We paid for "monitoring" for 60 years and they didnt find any but now without it they found it. If they had been finding it all this time, there would have been panic all this time. Lol or, its actually nothing to panic about.
