Losing yourself is WAY worse than “losing” someone else. Remember that when you find yourself clinging to a connection that makes you doubt your worth, feel ashamed and question things about yourself that you never questioned before. ALWAYS choose losing them over losing YOU.
Allowing someone to portray you as the villain of their story is a small price for having rid yourself of their toxicity. Be so focused on living in peace, walking in purpose, and expanding your wealth that they lose credibility trying to throw dirt on your name.
so far in my 20s, the best lesson i ever learned was that life will go on. People come and go, we lose friends, break up with lovers, meet new people, encounter success and failure and life will go on. You will be alright.
individuality is another reason why relationships fail because a lot of people do not know who they are outside of the person they’re dating. making your whole identity the person you’re with will never end well. you have to have your own separate life.
