@jillparton@friends_earth Correct and that was a typo on my part, thank you for flagging and also acknowledging pronouns! But as you've chosen to not respond to my question, I'll take it that you've realised your argument is dented so you've tried another line of attack. Bye, Jill, have a good one!
@jillparton@friends_earth You brought them up, I was simply addressing other MH issues you hadn't considered. This also isn't, and never was, a discussion about COVID and its horrific implications, so not entirely sure why you've decided now is the time to throw that into the mix.
@Genderfreehuma1@friends_earth It’s wider than just a women’s issue. Not using inclusive language ostracises other people who have been ignored for too long. As a woman, I understand the importance of feeling safe and included when discussing issues that effect me and believe we should extend the gratitude.
@jillparton@friends_earth Intersex people - those who have aspects of both reproductive systems - also exist, a number of which also bleed. So what’s your stance on them?
@jillparton@friends_earth Transmen are men, surgery or not, and should be acknowledged and respected as so. Full stop. The same for Transwomen. I encourage you to do your research and take note on other people’s lived experiences instead of throwing around damaging comments like that.
@jillparton@friends_earth What’s nonsense? You’ve just acknowledged that Transmen - who are men - can bleed if they haven’t had surgery, so therefore men can menstruate too (and no, I’m not talking about born-male men). Non-binary people also exist, so it’s time we started including them, too.
.@GarySambrook89 thought MPs were meant to vote in the best interests of their constituents? Huge props to @Olly4Northfield and co for their response. Please consider donating to their efforts to ensure children in #Northfield are fed next week: https://t.co/n2eJFKzlHv
.@richardpfranks is on the #WexMondays shortlist with this entry.
It looks like a shot from another time, but we're glad it isn't, otherwise it would be able to be on our shortlist!

THREAD: There is an environmental and financial crisis happening and nobody is talking about it.
Currently $2 billion worth of clothing is heading for landfill in Bangladesh. Why? Because high street clothing brands in the UK are refusing to pay for goods already made.
