I use art & creativity in all of its forms to help heal the effects trauma has on the brain, while trying to unlearn generational trauma along the way.
All of the information & knowledge we need is in the palm of our hands.
You can get a college level education on the internet, you just have to figure out how to find it.
When I struggle, I like to think I'm paving the way for others.
Let me take the hits so others can travel the path easier.
A reframe that's helped me embrace failure.

Understanding the process behind motivation is important to better understand yourself, & what drives you. It could be an object, activity, or event that is the source of your motivation; & the more you choose to pursue those passions, the more you are training your brain.
Motivation & your Brain — Motivation is triggered when your brain uses dopamine to communicate with its neurons. They are sending off signals before you even do the activity because you are anticipating the moment.
Other important areas that are activated are the:
•AMYGDALA — the part that processes emotions.
•PREFRONTAL CORTEX — involved in planning & reasoning.
As the dopamine is released, and your neurons are firing off, you are improving the strength of your synapses, and your hippocampus is being activated in the process. Your hippocampus is in control of the brain’s learning and memory center and plays a big role in motivation.
