@but_cyclists That looks like the UK. I just don't get it: Ten times as much snow and ice in Lithuania and for a lot longer and I never see anything like that here. Nothing stops, people driving as normal and never any major issues like this.

@vicky_moriarty @Twee_Papillon Agreed. I saw the change somewhere around the late 80's. I used to live in S. London but worked in Chatham, Kent. Drove in a snow storm to get there. I did arrive a little late due to the M20 being what it is, but I was the only one that turned up. Everyone else lived locally!
