We tried DST-365 in the 1970s and got stopped the program because people hated it.

And we started daylight saving time because it sucks getting woken up by the sun at 4am in late June.

My mom (boomer with 1 house, worked very hard her whole life), had my grandma's Toyota Avalon after she couldn't drive anymore. Stored outside, and from the mid-oughts when they had crappy clear coat, so the exterior is eh and the interior was not terrible. 30k miles.

Anyway I told her to give me a chance to buy it when she decided to sell it, my aunt guilted her a little and she decided to just gift it to me. Huge boon.

Very grateful for how generous my parents have been to me and my family. Not every boomer is an asshole.
