The downside of AI that people don’t talk about is what the future might look like.
Right now, AI is heavily subsidised, and big corp devs are already spending 2x their monthly salary on AI credits.
Most people no longer want to learn coding from scratch because they feel like AI can do it for them.
But when everyone fully depends on AI and the price goes up, the people who will lose the most will be small companies. They won’t be able to afford it at that cost, and they also won’t find enough junior engineers to hire because people have stopped learning.
This is the best time for you to actually learn core engineering alongside AI.

The idea of "one shotting" an app using AI is a fugazi.
If you had to describe my app and all the edge cases I have solved over the years, it would be a prompt the size of a small book, and my app isn't even that complicated.
The people promoting creating a business overnight with AI are just selling a get rich quick pipedream. Those grifters are present in every cycle.
AI has completely transformed how I work, but you can't push a button and make money. Doesn't work like that.
A reasonable government would have known 70% duties on food is an overkill in the wake of fuel subsidy removal and hike in energy cost, but of course, he's never in the business of making life easy for anybody. A leopard never changes its spots
JUST IN: President Bola Tinubu’s administration has approved a massive reduction in import duties of selected products in order to further reduce inflation, empower local businesses and increase affordability for consumers.
Gateway Air is here. Watch this video to the end for 🤩✈️✈️✈️
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 2nd, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT will commission the newly built Gateway International Airport, Iperu (conceived and built to completion by Governor Dapo Abiodun)—and unveil two Bombardier CRJ 900 aircrafts for Gateway Air.
We appreciate you Governor @DapoAbiodunCON
God bless Ogun State.
God bless Nigeria🇳🇬
People would rather work themselves to death than share responsibility with their spouse. Little wonder there's always one news or the other here and there.
Everybody will be alright
Funny of you to think a businessman doesn't care about his business being abused.
Systems have loopholes world over and people take advantage of it, it's not unusual. But when you lack decorum while at it, you make yourself an easy target. There's a reason most notable global...
This is how people abuse things and cheer about it. But when their region gets banned entirely from accessing stuffs in the future, they start complaining and won't trace it to their collective bad behaviour in the past
@TomolaGroup Oh! Okay...that makes it a two way street then. It could appreciate or otherwise, which is not always with linear yield. But then, that's one way to go 👍.
It's just better to be more holistic when putting such things out so people make more informed decision
If you earn N400,000 per month and invest N40,000 (10%) for 15 years at 20% returns, you'll have approximately N24 million.
N24 million generating 10% in dividends = N200,000 per month in passive income. Half your current salary.
Now imagine you also got salary increases over those 15 years and invested a bit more each time.
N200,000 per month becomes N400,000. Then N600,000.
That's how you replace your salary with portfolio income. It's not fast. But it's certain.
Or when you're between calls, and then put the whatever service on auto-renewal. You can text STOP to 2442 to place your line on FULL DND to opt out of their dubious campaigns.
Please do better, @MTNNG
Doing business in this part of the world is just so hard. You have to deal with stupid government policies, lack of infrastructure, and then people who are always scheming to rob you or destroy you if they can't have their way.
We're the architect of our woes
If you get too hard on water factory workers, your operator would deliberately set the sealing machine to seal so thin that by the time you wake up, everywhere is flooded due to leakages.
You will cry! And on top of that, you will still beg them.
Upskill if you have to, and you should always do. But Upskilling just cos of the phobia of AI (that people farm impressions with) is only going to wear you out
If AI is coming for anybody, then it will surely come for everybody. You might as well breathe while you wait your turn
