ES +$4279
Wednesday was brutal. Tried longing key MAs five times during the drop. Finally managed to salvage my profits for the past two days. Also, the NQ Charm price shifting lower today is a clear bearish signal.
@TLADe_Quantum Bought the dip last night and took some long setups across the Asia and London sessions today. Flattened the entire position right around the NQ Charm price 30283. Decided to pass on the short fade at the 30283 call wall though. (=ES 7573 wall)
Only willing to short if these align:
- Extreme MA deviation
- Indicators flashing overbought
- Hitting a major wall
- Weak walls below (no downside friction)
Been a while. Recovering from vertigo and back to active trading. Choppy market lately means mostly base hits. Hard to let winners run, but keeping execution steady.
In this +Gamma regime with strong bids, upside walls can break. Buying pullbacks instead of blind shorting.
XAG/ES +1327
Shorted XAG as it was too overextended from the daily MA. ES was choppy but played out the wall-to-wall move exactly as expected. And 7526 is acting as a clear Charm magnet.
ES -$650
Unlucky day. Flipped from short to long during the Asia session, but got stopped out right before the pump. Managed to recover some losses by re-longing after price reclaimed the wall.
@TLADe_Quantum I missed that. I've tried tracking Vanna and Charm before but haven't drawn any solid conclusions yet. Logically, heading into EOD, time decay should trigger some price action. Curious thoughโhow exactly is the Charm proc derived?
