I joined volunteers to pack meal boxes and saw firsthand how rising grocery prices are pushing more families into food insecurity.
That’s why it’s more important than ever to help keep families fed—my budget proposes doubling our investment in @RIFoodBank.

Rhode Island is a state built on inclusion and respect. I am appalled by the news of a man defacing the Cape Verdean and American flags in East Providence while carrying a Nazi flag. We stand with East Providence and the Cape Verdean community against this despicable act of hate.
I was proud to sign a law allowing businesses impacted by fire, floods or other damage to set up outdoor operations. Today, that law helped @matunuckoyster reopen as they rebuild.
Resilience is what Rhode Island is made of. ⚓️🦪
RI is moving forward on the Washington Bridge rebuild.
Walsh Construction—1 of the nation’s top bridge builders—will build a safe, state-of-the-art bridge that will outlast our lifetimes.
Better traffic flow, cost within budget, industry-driven timeline—we’re getting it done.
Rhode Island’s blue economy is growing — and companies like @regentcraft are at the forefront of that growth. By investing in innovation and workforce development in these emerging industries, we can glide into a strong economic future. #RI2030

Right now, the most important thing for potentially impacted Rhode Islanders to do is–protect your personal information.
Freezing your credit, setting up multiple levels of security, and staying alert will help keep your identity safe. Together, we will navigate this challenge.
My priority is to ensure we’re doing all we can to build a new Washington Bridge as soon as we can while keeping RIers safe.
Ensuring this project is done right will take time, but it's encouraging to see demo resume, the rebuild bidding process underway and federal $ secured.
Every day in the classroom is a step toward a brighter future.
Thanks to all the teachers, students and families who stepped up to make attendance a priority — last year we added 1.3 million hours of learning time.
Let’s keep going. #AttendanceMattersRI
We're continuing to pursue all potential federal funding to support the Washington Bridge rebuild.
Hours after RI was awarded a $125M @USDOT Mega grant to support the project, I spoke with @SecretaryPete to thank him for his commitment to RI and continue our advocacy efforts.
