@jusvoon@aneeshsoni12@Jason A core part of our thesis is that there’s a tremendous amount of manual work in RE dev that’s historically not been able to be automated, but with AI we can tackle many of those wokflows from first principles!
@jusvoon@aneeshsoni12@Jason (Co-founder here) it’s about us solving problems outside of just matchmaking. Namely, the due diligence process is tedious, error prone, and a big bottleneck for the developers.
When they can underwrite more deals, the investors get to invest in more deals!
@TheNickBlackmon Cynical viewpoint: it buys them >6 months of runway. They have an excuse to be unaccountable to KPIs because, “we’re making long-term investments!” then another 3 months after the website is launched for “optimization.”
@jaibhavnani I really hate this trend hot takes. So anti-founder for a VC to be against their founders investing their own cash. If a founder chooses not to angel invest, that’s up to them. But not the VC’s role.
@anothercohen I relate to this thread pretty hard. Gave up my startup after full-time for 4 years around the start of COVID. Worked in edtech for a year and now am moving to no-code. I could talk all day about the introspections that have come from that.
