I'm trying my best not to get involved in fandom discussions, but is this really happening? An entire story unfolds (and the protagonist is FORCED to be the mistress of a murderer) and people are really focusing on the fact that because she's the mistress she's not a virgin?

recresaol gave adelheid the “blessing” that allowed her to regress over and over again, trapping her in that horrible loop where she had to experience her deaths at anton’s hands again and again.

that’s also why adelheid kept pressing dominic to tell her exactly how he killed the dragon. she wanted to find recresaol herself and kill the dragon that gave her the blessing, so she could finally put an end to the regressions and die and rest peacfully.

so when people reduce adelheid to “she isn’t a virgin anymore” without considering everything she went through, it honestly feels like they completely missed and ignored the point of her character and her story.

We never see these discussions about the "virginity" of male protagonists in stories, but when a story features a woman in some complicated circumstance (even if it weren't the situation), the main question is: is the woman NO LONGER A VIRGIN?
