@egi_nupe The issue is that people’s reactions and comments on governments’ policies are largely motivated by their hatred for the government. That’s why you won’t get any reasonable counter-reform.
There are Muslim guys that will shake you and even embrace you for they don’t care. However, there’s no Muslim guy that will reject your handshake and then proceed to sit behind you on a bike! Iro ba tie je patapata!
In 200level, I tried to shake hands with a guy in my class(I didn't know you can't shake hands with members of the opposite sex as a Muslim) and he said it was haram to shake my hand. I asked why and he got visibly angry so I dropped it.
That same afternoon, we were supposed to go to the main campus for histology practical and we were both late so we somehow got round to taking a bike together and he sat behind me.
When we got to the laboratory, I asked him why it was haram to shake my hand but it wasn't haram to sit behind me on a bike especially as the bike thingy exposed us to more touching than a handshake.
He didn't answer me. He actually hasn't answered me till today and it's been four years.
Dear University of Ibadan (@UniIbadan), I hope this message meets you well. I have a relative who scored 289 in JAMB and already passed GCE Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Maths, etc.
I am a bit concerned, because we have struggled to find details of your cut off marks for MBBS on your website or any reliable platform. Could you make this information public please? Many thanks.
Dear Honourable Minister @DrTunjiAlausa, well done for all the excellent reforms in the last 2 years. It would be great if you are able to mandate all Universities to make their cut off marks public as done in other progressive countries. This will improve clarity and reduce corruption in the admission process. Many thanks sir! CC @NigEducation.
My neighbor growing up was a full devoted hijab Muslim woman who was married with 5 children.
She was coming home late from work one night and was r@ped by the bike man transporting her. He and another bike guy who were also Muslims took turns on her.
The worst part of this story is that she got pregnant from this incident and had the baby. According to the husband, their religion did not permit an abortion. Dress decent yes, but the way you dress will not save you from indisciplined animals.
So nobody sees the restraint and the discomfort masked with smiles from the man? Seems the woman just came out to save her husband from the awkwardness of the moment.
Your understanding of hypocrisy is never complete until you experience that of X. The double standard will run you mad if you are not familiar with the game. 😂
Dear Chinedu @GRVlagos
I have no interest in descending into the mudslinging and distractions you appear to thrive on. My focus remains on the important work before us - supporting the efforts of the Lagos State Government to ensure the safety, well-being, and prosperity of Lagosians.
If being committed to public service, good governance, and the protection of the interests and heritage of Lagosians is what you choose to describe as bigotry, then I make NO APOLOGIES for standing firmly by those principles. Public service is not a tea party - but how can you know what it entails? Nemo dat quod non habet.
For the sake of clarity, I would advise you, in your saner moments, to acquaint yourself with my record in public service - from my appointment as Special Adviser on Education to Mr. Governor in 2019 to my present tour of duty at the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. The record is public, and it speaks for itself.
As for the labels and accusations, I will leave others to judge them on their merits. I have no intention of engaging in personal attacks or trading insults with a political nomad driven by ignorance and needless hatred.
I wish you all the best.

You people consume every agenda you see here either because you are agenda-loving clowns or you are contented being ignorant. I used to hear UBANGIJI every time when I was serving in Lafia. Even the Imam that led Jum’aat always used the word UBANGIJI in his sermons. But then…
My cousin just finished ND and announced she wants to get married immediately. Family said, At least get your degree first. She said no. Then we heard her fiancé wants her fully covered, and the whole family started crashing out.
After weeks of arguments, they finally called me to talk sense into her. I said, Leave her. She's an adult. Let her learn outside.
Now!! I'm the wicked one.😭😭😭
(Az-Zumar-53) Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sin. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Jumuat Mubarak 🕌🕌🕌
I know a brother who is doing wonderfully well financially but suffers from impotence, an incurable impotence. This is why I wouldn't ask a man who is doing well financially but says he does not intend to marry. What if he is suffering from an ailment that he wouldn't be comfortable talking about with anyone? Would I be right to probe further? No.
Everyone who says I should address that should please understand that there are limits and only what a questioner has asked should be answered. That is respect and understanding.
