Today marks ten years since the Safe Schools Declaration was launched in Oslo, and 121 countries have endorsed it. But in many conflicts attacks on schools continue. In Gaza, nearly 600 schools have been destroyed. We must protect children's right to education – even in war.

The second Ukraine - Northern Europe Summit is happening right on time.

Our European way of life is based on respect to communities, countries, and people. We need to protect it from an opposing Russian system where one person starts wars and sacrifices hundreds of thousands of lives for his imperial delusions.

We must keep our pressure on him and his system so that he feels the losses and realizes he must respect Europe, international law, and our freedom — the freedom of all free nations.

As long as we maintain unity, Russia will not be able to destroy our freedom.
