Today, together with student leaders from the University of Dar es Salaam led by Rt. Hon. Kazimoto Moses, we had the privilege of meeting the Secretary General to the East African Legislative Assembly, Amb. Stephen Patrick Mbundi, the assembly's clerk Alex Lumumba Obatre, and a team at the Ugandan Consulate in Arusha, Tanzania.
During our deliberations with the clerk, we shared ideas on how young people can be more involved in leadership and in EAC economic intergration. Most importantly, we discussed how young leaders can have a stronger voice in shaping the East Africa Community we envision.
I was excited to learn that Mr. Obatre is a Makerere University alumnus and former resident of @nkrumah_hall (Room B54). Interestingly, that very room was once home to the late Benjamin Mkapa and late Brig. Noble Mayombo. I presented to him Makerere University branded ties so that he wears his alma matar with pride in his next engagements.
The future of East Africa will be shaped by young people who choose to work together, not apart. As Makerere University guild, we have always stood out as ambassadors of unity and I hope we shall continue to carry this spirit further for the benefit of the East African Community.

Today Morning , I intercepted a school van transporting pupils under dangerously overcrowded conditions. This is a stark reminder of how road negligence threatens our most vulnerable.
Our children's safety is non-negotiable. I have called on traffic police to strictly enforce safety regulations and clamp down on school vehicle overloading.
To school proprietors, headteachers, and drivers: our children are not cargo. They are the future of Uganda. Take full responsibility for their safety. No convenience is worth a child’s life. Let’s choose safety, always.
@TrevisMuhwezi@BruceKabaasa@Thomas_Tayebwa This is a bad proposal. Merit should prevail! Government should instead be working to increase the number of slots for quota system. And why not rethink about the student loan scheme and how to make it work?

TY takes home the three points!
Still unbeaten and haven't conceded any goal this season.
TY qualifies for its fourth consecutive Finale in Ntare Lions League and that is a record by miles.

I graduated with a Master's degree in Public Health (Health Promotion and Community Health) at the American University of Beirut on its 157th Commencement ceremony. I'm grateful to my professors, classmates, and family!
Today, I had the honour of presiding over my first GRC session as Guild Speaker of @MakGuild at @Makerere University a defining moment of leadership, service, and responsibility.
Grateful for the trust placed in me. Committed to steering a House that delivers.
It was an honor meeting the Rt.Hon. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda @Thomas_Tayebwa during the swearing-in ceremony of H.E. the President of Uganda. Congratulations HE @KagutaMuseveni
Our brothers, ANC, in South Africa have built 3.3 million housing units (or RDPs as they call them) for the most disadvantaged slum/township dwellers since 1994. We can at least do 1,000,000 housing units in 10 years.
