I think it’s a bigger conversation about how Black entrepreneurs are judged differently. My prices are not high compared to what’s already on the market, especially for what I’m building. I’m paying models, photographers, investing in dope visuals, campaigns, production all the things it takes to build a real brand. People actually buy TERMS, wear it, post it, and genuinely see themselves in it. It’s even starting to build its own audience outside of me, which is the whole goal. At some point y’all have to allow Black people to build brands with value without immediately questioning why it isn’t cheap.
why was I crying this morning because I found a clip of the football player guy Damar when he had that medical emergency. my goodness. That was my first time seeing or hearing about that. Oh my goodness, God is so good. i got so emotional🥺🥺🥺🥺
I saw a post that said:
“I think being forced to be hyper independent as a child has caused me to be irrationally angry with any adult who needs their hand held through anything they do.”
And I felt that in my soul.
All of my friends have something that I admire about them. The hustle, style, the way the move, beauty, free spirit, intelligence & more. It's so important to have ppl around you that motivate you in some kind of way.
