When you reach the level of trust in the Almighty, without any reservation, you don’t stress over life. You let Him do what He wills. If He opens a door for you, thank Him; if it doesn’t open, you still thank Him. That’s the beauty of complete trust!

Don't go round pretending to be who you’re not. Many people go through life wearing different masks. Remember you can fool others but the Almighty knows the real you. The fake will eventually lose and the real will win over.

Instead of making everything about yourself, learn to be an active listener and allow others to speak for a change. Show you’re interested, lend an ear to hear about their troubles without making any judgement. You’ll be surprised how much you can help someone just by listening.

We tend to assume people will always be there for us and we can appreciate them later. What if that later never comes? Don’t take things for granted. Share your feelings, especially with loved ones and those close to you before it’s too late.

Never doubt what the Almighty can do. The Lord of the Worlds knows how to suddenly change things. He can suddenly move people out of your life. He can suddenly open doors you never dreamed would open. He is the Best Planner!

Those who want to steal your peace will provoke you till they get the reaction they want. Remember, the best reaction in this case is NO reaction. Don’t give them the attention they want. Keep your peace!

We've all been through rough days, a difficult month or a bad year. But these are often blessings in disguise. Remember, everything the Almighty does is good. We only have to wait patiently, hold our head up and press on. Let life take its course.

Don't let negative thoughts breed in your mind. Often we think of ‘what ifs’ and scenarios and worry ourselves for no apparent reason. That’s exactly what Satan wants. Learn to have faith and trust the Almighty instead.

Be wary of arrogance. Only the humble can get close to the Almighty and realise that they’re nothing without Him. The minute arrogance takes root in your heart, a barrier forms. A barrier between you & your Creator. Humble yourself for Him and He will raise you.

Almighty. On this blessed Friday, we pray for those in need. Those with broken hearts and broken lives. Bless them with healing. Change their circumstances. Help them make sense of all the chaos going on round them.
