How true is the statement of some of the Salaf:

The ignorant causes more harm and corruption than good and rectification.

And how evident and clear this is in our times especially with the advent of the Internet and social media!

Ignorant people who would NOT dare speak about worldly sciences, but have the audacity to speak about religious affairs and affairs which impact the Ummah!

Indeed the Prophet (ﷺ) spoke the truth:

اتخذ الناس رءوسا جهالا فسئلوا فأفتوا بغير علم فضلوا وأضلوا

..."then the people will take the ignorant as their leaders, who when asked will give verdicts without knowledge, so they will go astray and lead others astray." [Al-Bukhārī]
