People always say, “God gives His toughest battles to His toughest soldiers.”

The more I read my Bible, the more I realize that’s not really what I see.

God didn’t build His Kingdom with people who had it all together. He used broken people. Doubting people. Weak people. Ordinary people.

It wasn’t their strength that made the difference. It was His.

I’ve spent a lot of my life thinking I had to be strong enough to carry everything. Truth is… I’m not. I’ve learned the hard way that on my own, I fall short every time.

But that’s where Jesus meets me.

God doesn’t need me to be the strongest man in the room. He just asks me to trust Him. His strength is enough when mine isn’t.

Every good thing in my life comes from Him. Every battle I’ve made it through has been because He carried me, not because I was tough enough to handle it.

I need Jesus every single day. Not just when life falls apart, but when it’s good too. Without Him, I’m just a man trying to do life on my own.

With Him, I have everything I need.

To God be the glory. Always.
