Today in Kisii, I joined family, friends, and fellow leaders in mourning and celebrating the life of Mama Theresa, Senator Richard Onyonka’s mother.
From the tributes shared, it was clear Mama Theresa was a woman of strength, wisdom and generosity and she touched many lives. Senator Onyonka and the entire family were truly blessed to have her.
Her life also reminds us of the quiet but powerful role many women across this country play in nurturing families, instilling values, and shaping future generations.
As Kenyans, we too have an opportunity to shape the future of this country by uniting behind leaders who have demonstrated integrity, courage, service, and commitment to the people.
May Mama Theresa rest in peace
