Make a habit of breaking rules
When you break rules-
You break old patterns ASAP
When you break old patterns...
You set yourself FREE from your old life
And jump into your new one
When in pursuit of a dream...
We can rest easy in remembering the dream is not OURS
It is God's
We can remove ourselves entirely
And let God flow through
Compassion towards the ugliest actions and emotions will heal the world
When the ego is met with love- it literally doesn't know what to do
It will die
And you will be free
If you’re having trouble staying true to you… it’s not your fault sweetie
The body and mind follow familiar routes
Without a shift in environment- the same thoughts & actions keep replaying
A random action (mine was jumping on a trampoline today) can interrupt the cycle asap
The most magical things happen when you didn’t do anything to earn them
But allowing to receive from God isn’t as easy as it seems
Receiving asks you to trust instead of control
We feel open + silly when drunk bc we turn the volume of our conditions down
Conditions: the rules u made up that u believe will allow u to have a sense of belonging
Have a few drinks & notice how u feel & act (usually more fun)
Try having this feeling when sober.. experimennt
It’s funny how fast your body listens when you tell it, “we’re having a good day today”
The words don’t matter as much as the assumption
Your body ALWAYS wants to prove you right
I’ve only experienced the path of least resistance through a balance of:
A clear target + relaxed body (non-attachment)
Kind of like archery:
♥︎ Intention = choosing the target
♥︎ Action = pulling the bow back
♥︎ Non-attachment = releasing the arrow without tension
“Sally Lou is Sally Lou and I am me. I recognize my own worth enough to see that I could accomplish something like she has… but according my unique way of being”
Because you being so you will be the most valuable you could ever be
We go from making decisions based on:
“Sally Lou is doing things I WISH I could do... but at least I have a better house than her”
The superiority complex keeps you in place
or
“Sally Lou is so much better than me I won’t even try because I could never do that”
The inferiority complex- also keeping you in place
We can switch to-
