If youโre serious about your job search you should be able to answer each of the below questions.
With speed, and ease.
1. Who am I professionally and who do I help?
Interview Question: "Why do we need to hire you?"
Answer: "Because I am hardworking, I can work under pressure and learn quickly..."
Honestly, this is the answer everyone gives.
HR has heard this thing 100 times a day. ๐
The key to this question is really simple:
"What unique value can you bring to this company?"
HR don't want to hear slogans. HR don't want to hear "passion". They want to know what results you can deliver.
Think of it this way, if you sell yourself as "diligent", everyone is diligent.
But if you say "I can solve this problem for you", that's power.
Try using this formula:
1) Start with the most relevant skills for the job
Not a random skill.
Take what the company is looking for โ shoot it first.
โ "I'm a dedicated person."
โ "I have 2 years of experience handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in less than 24 hours."
2) Connect with measurable achievements
HR likes โ numbers because numbers show real impact.
โ "I've been in charge of sales."
โ "I achieved the 120% monthly sales target for 6 consecutive months."
Small wins are also allowed, as long as they are specific.
3) Relate directly to the job you are applying for
It's not a story of an old experience that has nothing to do with it.
"I've streamlined the onboarding process, and that's in line with this role that requires someone to improve the team's workflow."
4) End with 'Why You + Why This Company'
Show them why you're a match.
"I like the company's customer-first approach, and my skills in service recovery align with that mission."
Put it together, it goes like this๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

If youโre serious about escaping poverty and becoming valuable in 2026, do these:
1. Learn a high-income skill (copywriting, data analysis, UI/UX, forex, sales). In this economy, skill is survival.
2. Learn at least one extra language, French, Spanish, Germanโฆ even Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa if itโs not your own. Languages open doors money cannot.
3. Read one book per month, your brain needs data more than your phone.
4. Work on your communication, English that is clean, confident, and clear will take you far.
5. Build a digital presence, in 2026, being invisible online is career suicide.
6. Network intentionally, Nigeria is a โwho knows whoโ country.
7. Master one useful tech tool (Excel, Power BI, Canva, Notion, Figma, ChatGPT).
8. Improve your emotional control, Lagos alone will test your character.
9. Have at least one side hustle, never depend on only one stream of income.
10. Take your health seriously, gym, better food, routine checkups. Hospital bills in Nigeria are not friendly.
11. Look neat, not expensive, branding is power, packaging is currency.
12. Respect peopleโs time, professionalism is rare here; be different.
13. Keep your circle tight, too many people pretend to support you but pray for your downfall.
14. Learn how to sell, products, services, ideas. Sales is the true superpower.
15. Document your journey, Nigerians love growth stories. It builds trust & community.
2026 will reward those with skill, discipline, packaging, & visibility, not noise.
How do you work under pressure?โ
Please donโt answer things like:
โI donโt feel pressure,โ
โIโm very chill,โ
or
โWhen Iโm stressed, I take a nap first.โ
These kinds of answers make you look unprepared and unaware of how real workplaces function.
Hereโs how to answer it properly ๐
โ Example of a strong answer:
โI see pressure as a normal part of working life, and I treat it as a chance to show my resilience and problem-solving skills.
For example, at my previous workplace, we once had a very tight deadline for a major project. To handle the pressure, I started by planning everything clearly, prioritizing tasks, and organizing the timeline. I also communicated openly with my team to make sure everyone understood their responsibilities.
Even though the deadline was intense, I managed to deliver the project on time and with high quality. I believe staying calm, communicating clearly, and managing tasks strategically are the keys to performing well under pressure.โ
โ Tip for candidates:
Feel free to use this structure and add your own real experience. Interviewers want to understand how you behave during stressful situations, not whether you โdonโt feel pressure.โ

Donโt panic, itโs not a trap question, just stay calm and answer smart.
1. Focus on Specific Skills
"If I failed this interview, the reason would be that I couldn't demonstrate how my specific skills and experiences align with the job requirements. After this, I will review how I present my qualifications and aim to better express the value I can bring to the role."
2. Self-Reflection
"However, if things donโt go as planned, it might be because I didn't show enough enthusiasm or explain well how I fit with the team. I think being genuine and excited about the role is important, so I'll work on improving how I show these in future interviews."
3. Handling Nerves
"Sometimes, nerves can impact performance. If I were to fail this interview, it could be because I wasn't able to present my best self under pressure. I work on managing stress and ensuring I stay calm during interviews."
4. Misalignment
"Failing might also occur if there's a misalignment between my career goals and the company's direction. I strive to make sure my aspirations match what the company is offering, but if thereโs a mismatch, it could be a reason for not progressing." #IkoKaziKE
Rekebisha eneo hilo.
Successful men have 3 things in common:
- High stress tolerance
- Fast execution
- Discipline
Son, success is built on qualities people hate to practice.
@Dearme2_ INTEGRITY IS
doing what you said you'd do even when it hurts, even when no one remembers, even when it would be easier to lie.
Most men abandon it the second it becomes inconvenient.
That's why trust is rare and respect is earned, not given.
