The reactions to this Ronaldinho and Yamal video proves that many of you don’t know who Ronaldinho is. How can you doubt the king of skills in football!
all jokes aside, i think one of the best things that can happen to you as a young person is figuring out what you truly want to do with your life early on and being in an environment that doesn't hinder it from happening
MTN Nigeria CEO Karl Toriola told Nigerians that unlimited data does not exist anywhere in the world unless you are paying a fortune.
Nigerians abroad immediately responded with screenshots of their unlimited plans costing the equivalent of three hours of minimum wage work in the UK.
Karl said nowhere in the world. Nigerians pulled out receipts from the world.
Let us be factual.
India. Jio offers unlimited data, calls, and SMS for the equivalent of N3,500 a month.
UK. Three UK and O2 have unlimited plans a British minimum wage worker clears in under two hours.
USA. T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all sell unlimited plans. Widely available, Heavily advertised.
Several African markets including South Africa offer near-unlimited plans at more affordable income-relative prices than Nigeria.
What Karl actually meant to say is this.
Unlimited data does not exist anywhere MTN operates at the prices MTN is willing to charge while maintaining the profit margins required to keep shareholders comfortable.
That is the honest sentence. It is just not one a CEO can say in public.
So he said nowhere in the world instead and hoped Nigerians were too poor and too disconnected to fact-check him.
“To My Fellow Nigerian Soldiers And Personnel, Please Do Not Shoot Or Open Teargas On Peaceful Protesters. Let Them Exercise Their Civil Rights. Even If An Order Is Given, Still Make Use Of Your Brain. How Will You Feel, Or Even Sleep, If Your Children, Wife, Mother, Father, Or Relative Is One Of The Kidnap Victims In The Bush?”. ~ Nigerian Soldier Warns
Nigerian history deserves more than scattered Wikipedia pages. For @1000reasons9ja, I created 1800+ dated moments of Nigerian history. You can now trace Nigeria from the 1300s to 2026.
I also added 200 more reasons against T-Pain’s administration.

I personally want Obi as Nigeria’s president so people can see that you can be upright, be respectful, be a Nigerian, be law-abiding, have no criminal case and still win in Nigeria. Obi’s presidency is good for Nigeria’s moral compass.
"Don't blame the West for your underdevelopment because that denies you agency..."
...Says an African man whose president is a drug dealer from Chicago currently being blackmailed by the US government using his DEA investigation records.
Lmao pls I have an information war to fight. Ain't nobody got time to be responding to people who live in an artificial world inside their own head.
We'll be out here in the real world while you continue spamming George Ayittey soundbites on Twitter.
Whenever the fuck you wake up is your individual morning.
🚨N785.5m RELEASED, ZERO CLASSROOMS BUILT! ANOTHER REASON TO MONITOR YOUR STATE BUDGET
In May 2026, we tracked four education projects under the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) from the state's 2025 Budget Implementation Report and uncovered a disturbing trend.
📍 AUD Ibaka/Ilale Quarters, Akungba
Construction of 3 and 6 Classroom Buildings
💰 Amount Disbursed: N213.6m
📍 Army Primary School Annex II, Akure & Ayedun Community Primary School
Construction of 3 and 6 Classroom Buildings
💰 Amount Disbursed: N203.8m
📍 All Saint's Primary School, Owobamibo I, Idanre
Construction of 3 and 6 Classroom Buildings
💰 Amount Disbursed: N165.9m
📍 Baptist Day Primary School, Ile-Oluji
Construction of 2 and 3 Classroom Buildings, ECCDE Building and 2-Bay Toilets
💰 Amount Disbursed: N202.3m
Total funds disbursed: N785.5m
Yet, during physical verification visits, none of these projects had commenced. There was no evidence of site mobilization, contractor presence, or construction activity at any of the locations.
While N785.5m has been released, children in these communities are still waiting for the classrooms and facilities meant to improve their learning environment.
We call on Gov. Lucky Ayiedatiwa, the @OndoStateOnline and the @OndoAssembly to immediately investigate these projects and demand accountability from the implementing agency. We also urge the @officialEFCC and @icpcnigeria to scrutinize these disbursements and establish what happened to the funds released for these projects.
Citizens must pay closer attention to state budgets. The impact of poor accountability is often felt most in our schools, hospitals, roads, and communities.
