There are two distinct party groups that now rival FG and FF.
🟣 Labour + SocDems + Greens now into the mid teens.
⚫️ Aontu + Independent Ireland around 10% support.
As FG and FF support has fallen recently, this reveals increasing fragmentation across the political system.
2025 saw a housing trend continue from prior years, a lower average size of new dwellings. Part of the decline over the years has been an increase in the mix of apartments, dragging the "Ireland" average lower.
36,284 new dwelling completions in 2025, up 20.4% from 2024 and the highest number of completions since the series began in 2011.
Apartments = 12,047 (+38.7%)
Scheme Houses = 18,308 (+13.1%)
Single Houses = 5,929 (+12.5%)

Ireland says it doesn't want election. But I know half my followers secretly yearn for the suspense of the count, glued to the telly for every single seat, holding out for yet another Bowman cameo appearance #ge17#marian. You know who you are!
Looks like Coveney will win the membership vote. If it wasn't for PP vote, it would mark yet another upset in party politics. #fgle2017 https://t.co/jVbCNOCHwq
