The American model, as Indra Nooyi points out, may be meritocratic, but it is not always just or egalitarian….It often values outcomes over people. India doesn’t need to copy that model. We need a system that is socially just and economically empowering.
As a mother, I feel most importantly we need to make learning exciting again. Replace outdated textbooks with a future ready curriculum that rewards curiosity, creativity and critical thinking…..Turn colleges into hubs of innovation, dialogue and the free exchange of ideas.
Cut bureaucratic delays. Our entrepreneurs are among our greatest assets. Value them, trust them and make it easier for them to build.
And yes, fix our cities. Most important…Pollution, crumbling infrastructure and poor urban planning have made city life exhausting. Urban living is no longer an aspiration. It is the reality for most Indians. We need cities that are clean, efficient and inspiring places to live, work and dream…..
"In Singapore, you can file your IT return in just 5 minutes. There’s no tax on capital gains, FD or property sales. This is the real ease of doing business unlike India."

If you didn't know by now that there are agenda-driven articles and content on X, media, and social media about so many things,
here is your reference and opinion-building fact regarding data centers and water usage.
A revealing chat with my fellow “anti-national Soros agents.”
Vedant and his friends are brilliant, brave young Indians who asked CBSE and the Modi government simple questions - but got insults instead of answers.
They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it.
By all means run a bulldozer over Delhi Gymkhana. But don’t give the bullshit of exclusivity or privilege or tax payer money. If thats the standard we are living by then shut down Constitution Club; demolish the CSOI where govt land was given at throw away price to babus; shut down DSOI; take back all newspaper properties on BSZ Marg; Take back all lands given to NGOs which are profit centres; demolish IIC and Habitat Centre; stop subsidised food in parliament. MPs get paid so why should their food be subsidised? if they cant afford it, step down from parliament and do something that pays you enough. Shut down the Air Force and Army Golf Clubs, Santushti Centre, Race Club, and the Delhi Flying Club where no one flies anything. The DGC is being targeted because someone has an axe to grind and didnt get membership. Now its being made an elite vs non-elite fight which it isn't. But since we all want to play Bolshevik commies or are inspired by CCP and Khmer Rouge to demolish everything nice, decent, genteel, lets do a comprehensive job of it. Make it all a animal shelter which would warm the cockles of Pol Pot's heart. But please don’t give the BS of security because that is total hogwash. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Upon landing in Rome, had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Meloni over dinner followed by a visit to the iconic Colosseum. We exchanged perspectives on a wide range of subjects. Looking forward to our talks today, where we will continue the conversation on how to boost the India-Italy friendship.
@GiorgiaMeloni
Fantastic article underlining the challenges for India in the AI era considering our dependence on IT services
Considering we don't have oil, we don't have tokens, have a billion people and an Annual Recurring freebie bill that exceeds Rs 1 lakh crore, it looks challenging
First the NEET paper leak affecting 22 lakh students.
Then CBSE Class 12 students receiving unexpectedly low marks from a broken OSM system - many losing their college eligibility.
Now lakhs of CBSE Class 9 students suddenly asked to learn a new language from July 1, with no teachers, no textbooks, and Class 6 books being handed to 14-year-olds as a “transitional” fix.
Three exams. Three age groups. One Minister.
Dharmendra Pradhan ji has not failed once. He has failed every single age group of India’s students at once.
Every announcement plunges children deeper into uncertainty. Every failure goes unpunished. The Education Ministry has become a department of disasters.
Prime Minister Modi ji - can you at least apologise to the lakhs of children whose futures you and your Minister have destroyed?
