If I learned anything at JessCamp it's that I can spot the schizos, magicians and meditators from across the room based on how comfortable I feel around them.
Honestly the number one problem in the Netherlands is their conception of lunch...
The rest is perfect but in this domain they really resist innovation..
Unless they know something we don't in which case I refuse to innovate.
@frideswyth y'know one of the things i tapped into at jesscamp was the fact that time is fake
had almost a hard time getting back into a mindstate of planning and analyzing the future coming back later
time's still fake tho so
my nervous system is going haywire noticing the status difference between me sitting in a 5-bedroom apartment while surinamese cleaners are trying their best to mop the carpets without a vacuum cleaner because they didn't have it or something
Second favorite language mistake:
When your language is so close to English, and you speak English perfectly, but because the language is so similar, you go years saying stuff like "fine day further" without batting an eye.
I don't understand dating apps. I feel like my person is like 99 percentile openness, and ideally tangled in a mess of niche subcultures.
All apps do is reveal how far I've drifted from the "average" person.. if there ever is one.
