@mweinbach@NandinoAI Depends on your use case. But can I cancel my Claude Max subscription and run this on my 16GB MacBook Air instead? Yeah definitely not.
@mweinbach@NandinoAI Idk but I installed TheTom‘s Ollama fork that implements this on a 24GB Mac Mini and I am now running Mistral 3.2 Small with 128k context instead of 16k previously. Obviously nothing compared to what you can do with 128GB but it’s a leap!
@BenjaminHouy 2/ For Pipedrive, I have built a tiny API relay with a whitelist so the agent can use the same API but with a different token and endpoint, and it is now limited to all GET endpoints and the POST notes endpoint. Works great! But SaaS providers will have to catch up.
@BenjaminHouy 1/ That’s what most SaaS will have to learn - to accept agentic API users with very fine-grained permissions. Then it won’t matter whether you give the agent CLI or MCP access. The problem is giving it the one and only API token that lets it work as if it were you.
@TheCraigHewitt What do you need the MacMini‘s UI for? I mostly SSH in there or /remote-control for Claude and for the rare occasion something breaks and I need the GUI I do use TeamViewer but yes that’s not a pleasure. I keep all GUI work on the MacBook
@forwarddeploy Hey Umesh, I'm building SentientBot - an agentic business process automation engine that I'm currently alpha-testing in my own business. Will release publicly soon: https://t.co/Uw6jyvLw6G Currently runs on Claude Sonnet 4.5 by default. Would love to explore Grok for it!
@michaelkoper Just talked to @TheCraigHewitt about this. I guess a CLI is better when you have access to the machine & you trust the code. Plus it might eat less of your context (MCP tools are usually all loaded in). MCP definitely has wider adoption though, think ChatGPT, Claude Web, etc…
@TheCraigHewitt Or Zuck told him „we’ll do this with or without you”. And nothing shows more commitment than putting that landing page front and center in Manus. It does say „we take what you built seriously”.
@TheCraigHewitt It’s bigger than that. Our ways to sign and email documents looks childish when two agents can just put the hash of what they agreed upon on the chain.
@BenjaminHouy If you like Poland, check out Warsaw and Gdansk, too. Krakow is beautiful to visit but gets a little hard to live in (very touristy and crowded). And they’re bigger than Wroclaw.
@TheCraigHewitt@openclaw It helps to have a domestic IP address when trying to access sites like LinkedIn, Amazon, etc. I haven't tried it but I can imagine Clawdbot getting blocked more often running on an AWS instance.
