there is a large amount of child abuse in general when it comes to foster care and child protective services.

as well, there has been no meaningful per capita study into the differences in abuse between gay parents and straight parents.

there is a huge amount of survivership bias when it comes to lookin gat this issue, because there are a ton of invisible gay people who are in the closet and want to be normal and considered normal and don't want their identity to be defined by being gay, so they don't even appear in studies or notable cases like this.

literally every study in "gay people" is not accurate because of this, because any gay person who wants to just be normal, becuase of the social stigma, will not even risk participating in such a study.

in nature, it is observed that gay animals (which there are alot), will literally adopt children after a catostrophic population collapse, while the straight animals are busy reproducing.

i think its cruel and terrible what a lot of gay people go through who don't want to bother any one who see freaks on one side in gay pride parades, and then people on the other side saying that gays shouldn't adopt, that gays are disgusting, and that they wish it was like the 1960's again when being gay was considered a horrible shame and would ruin someones life and was often even illegal. Alan Turing, the man who helped crack the enigma machine during ww2, was chemically castrated for being gay, watched his body morph and waste away, and then injected an apple with cyanide and ate it.

when it comes to the preponderance for gay people to do bad and perverse things, people fail to understand that the directionality is wrong. its not that gay people are more likely to do horrible perverse taboo things. its that people who do horrible, perverse, taboo things, are less likely to have a problem with gay stuff.

its kind of like, if you smoke crack, then you are probably not against smoking weed, but smoking weed doesn't neccessarily make you want to smoke crack.

psychologically speaking, pedophillia and homosexuality are not the same thing, attraction to neotony is not the same thing as attraction to masculinity.

i think that there should be extreme care when it comes to vetting adoptive parents in general, and that child protective services and foster care agencies are rife with abuse, largely institutional, largely by design, and its unclear what the solution is, but blaiming gay people is not the solution, and demoralizes alot of people who just want to be left alone. people dancing around with dildos and having chem sex at pride parades are not all gay people.

if it comes to the choice between having meth addicted parents, or having gay parents who are other wise normal, the gay parents are clearly better.
