Be aware that resources pooled for emergency response during wildfire and the follow up will have impacts on the communities/environment, this is just as impactful as the wildfire itself! - how will things be rebuilt if at all, will more invasive plants be planted …
When they start using terms like “reimagining” that’s a clue that the ruling class is about to impose their desires onto the city using “disaster” as a catalyst for ethnic cleansing (gentrification), hyper-policing, new forms of extraction & deepening exploitation.
