@TheGillsFC Who are we gonna attract of decent quality without high wages being a draw. If we sell it as ‘the 2 year plan’ it hasn’t exactly been a success for those that came in Jan. (or earlier) under the same pretense. If we’re in year 2, any incomers need to be League 1 quality minimum.

@guardian @RachelReevesMP if you decide to freeze private landlord rents for a year, what will happen is rental increases will be done immediately prior to the date which it becomes ‘no longer allowed’, and increases will be higher to take in to account the lost year. Daft idea !

@TheGillsFC GA basically said half of the players shouldn’t be there and he wishes he had made changes earlier in the season. It’s obvious they have taken offence and basically are in ‘couldn’t give a fuck’ mode. Save for a few, most are coasting and probs already organising their next move

They take time to gel. 2 years starts from now I’d say but that would mean a longer tenure for GA and already looking at the 30 somethings as needing to be replaced.

@GermanGills Was just thinking the same. Am resigned to watching the Gills on TV from Spain and whilst the camera work ain’t great it is just so frustrating to watch. Poor decisions, fluffed touches and passes and hoofing the ball around like Sunday league (no offence Sunday leaguers !)

@Deutsch_Gills Makes no sense we play so high against a top team. After goal 1, certainly goal 2, surely the high line should have dropped back a little seeing as we lack pace. Makes no sense and hard to understand what a weeks worth of training achieved ?

@MJPhippsy Loads of teams do it. Seems they kick it out and then press high to immediately put the opposition under pressure. Thrown in, win second ball, team already on the edge of the box. Seems a shit tactic to me, but there you go !.
