Is this the greatest NBA offseason ever? The magnitude of some of these moves, the returns (or lack thereof) for franchise players...what are the GMs smoking??
MSG requested a permit for a watch party for 500-999 fans. We approved that permit for 999 fans.
Mr. Dolan has now decided to cancel the watch party.
I know this is breaking hearts across our city.
But if there's one thing Knicks fans don't need permission for, it's showing up for our team wherever we may be โ no matter the block or the borough.
Knicks in five.
on a lighter note, i was thinking about when a label starts to stick to a player. like how many flops make a "flopper"? and how many dirty plays are you allowed before you're a "dirty player"?
i try to not label people as Bad even when they've done Bad Things, bc (most) people aren't all good or all bad, you know? but if you participate in a 20v1 curb stomp...you deserve some kind of label
it's such a shame that the backdrop to such an epic showdown is a cesspool of bad vibes, like d*lan using this to proxy war mamdani and knicks "fans" being violent, brainless scum of the earth
I generally like Mamdani, but what is this statement? The joking tone feels inappropriate for the violence it's addressing. I actually think Ben Stiller made the better statement here. Do better, mayor
Couldn't agree more. We'll win this series on the court (even if the refs refuse to call a flagrant on Wemby), not by targeting, harassing, or attacking Spurs fans.
Knicks in 5.
Jalen Brunson "To all the students taking the Gaokao, don't be nervousโฆGood luck"
Josh Hart "This is your guys playoff moment, the Finalsโฆrelaxโฆstay confidentโฆand kill it"
Today 13 million Chinese high schoolers take the grueling all-important Gaokao college entrance exam๐จ๐ณ
it's so dang hard to hate the knicks bc they're literally a power of friendship team. and brunson is annoyingly clutch. the only thing i can find to dislike about them is KAT's connection to the kard*shians, and even that's flimsy
anyway, what i'm really here for is nba account recs but idk how to get them so i'm just gonna keep tweeting into the ether until the algorithm gives them to me
idk, maybe i'm getting old and boring, but i'm tired of the negativity. and the jodar witch hunt over something he didn't even do...i really think about leaving r/tennis sometimes. i swear it feels more toxic than r/nba
and of course, cobolli. very composed and gracious in his loss (and even leading up to the final). i don't think zverev is a nice person, but he is a great athlete, and his resume finally reflects that. overall a dramatic and interesting tourney.
i'm sure i'm in the minority (at least on twt and reddit) but i actually enjoyed this rg. while i miss carlos, i appreciated that a lot of rising stars got their time in the spotlight. looking forward to watching young cerundolo, fonseca, mensik, jodar, etc.
Is this the year of the highest highs followed by the lowest lows? DPOY and championship contender to concussion...CGS to coach breakup to wrist injury...I need the rest of 2026 to be kind
