To be precise, it is AI King Alfred. ๐คฃ But I grant it, that was funny. What I mean to say is, the other three were all innovations post-Christ to reject Him outright. Modern Paganism is some weird and stupid attempt at reclaiming something that wouldn't need to be if not for 3rd World migration at the expense of Western culture.
I get it, I think it would be great, I just don't see how. The ACNA has a lot of low-church Evangelical parishes and then factor in the Reformed/Calvinists in the high-church, neither of which sit well with the Caroline Divines or Tractarian views. My main point: It would dilute the very thing you would want to protect in the Continuum.
Who cares.
"but yet it is versus Altare, towards his Altar, as the greatest place of God's Residence upon Earth. (I say the greatest, yea, greater than the Pulpit. For there it is, Hoc est Corpus meum, This is my Body. But in the Pulpit, it is, at most, but, Hoc est Verbum meum, This is my Word. And a greater Reverence (no doubt) is due to the Body, than to the Word of our Lord." - William Laud, Speech at the Censure of Bastwick, Burton, and Prynne (1637)
@American_Johnny Understandable, but I couldn't call it "low church" but certainly "lower church" than Anglo-Cath. "Low Church" is down the road at Mission Cleveland (ACNA).
