@Anthony_Prusa3D@MandicReally *looks again*
Ohhh, I get it. It’s a thin flat boi that connects or sits on the long bois. Smart! I’m engineering some locking mechanisms for a project, look up some designs to consider incorporating.
Love to see this evolve further! 🥰
@Anthony_Prusa3D@MandicReally Nicely done! Consider internal ribs / organic designs, and think “how strong can I build this, with minimal filament”.
Engineer strength into those long-bois by inserting metal hardware rods (rebar) that anchors into the wall.
Off to experiment with PPS-GF reinforcement. 🥳
@tommy_prusa3d@josefprusa@conservancy You are absolutely correct here. I was hoping to save us some time and get right to the source. I respect your position and will respond to the support agent when I have time to work on this. Thanks again. 🥰🙏
@repkord Deeply scarred by Prusa’s MMU2S. 🤭
No fires there, but I did have a bidet electrical fire once, that quite literally scared the shit out of me. True story.

@DIYMaker_Johan@Creality3dP@ARTME3D All good man. I understand you.
Just don’t limit yourself. Find your value. Film and post reviews of what you have and why you like or don’t like, establish your value and your audience, then pitch..?
@DIYMaker_Johan@Creality3dP@ARTME3D Trying to think of options if you can’t afford theirs or get the value you want out of it? No offense taken, this might just be a “hey, I’ll take one of these if you need a tester” calls that I misread?
@DIYMaker_Johan@Creality3dP@ARTME3D Yep, urgency,. I have a desktop injection moulder with heater bands that likely operates on similar principals.
Break it down, figure it out, figure out how much it would cost to build it, and if it’s worth it. 🤷♂️
@DIYMaker_Johan@Creality3dP@ARTME3D Then it’s a knowledge, materials, tooling, or value/affordability gap.
“I want this, it’s just not for me”
“How much would it cost to get someone to machine some plate steel spinning bois for my shredder?”
Sometimes it’s cheaper than you think.
