@DanRather In a nation where our choice is between 2 80ish blubbering idiots it's hard to see how we don't all lose... Kennedy Jr is far from perfect but he's got my vote
@sheltz32tt@elonmusk@krassenstein But Biden is behind in several poles... so what does that tell you about his relative likability as a human and a president? What a sh*t election - we get to choose between nuclear waste and a flesh eating bacteria.
@mcuban and then doubling down by telling you that the fact your organization didn't always have these nonsensical 'adjustments' makes you a racist or sexist or...
@mcuban you're not understanding that the DEI being implemented in the real world is the same as you being forced to bring in WNBA players. You're argument that it is still done on merit is countered with the DEI evangelist changing the meaning of merit... moving the goal post
so if congress thinks that meta, discord, tiktok, etc should lose lawsuit protection for the actions of the users on their platform, shouldn't it be possible to sue the US government for illegal and lethal actions of people that used the US Highway system?
@mcuban Mark what you describe is a generally agreed upon form of dei (notice the lower case) it unfortunately bears little resemblance to the DEI manifesto that is driving higher education hiring and is extremely racist at its core - why are you unwilling to examine the difference?
@mcuban It's just mind blowing to me that so many think that a good answer for fixing racism is a new form of racism. this is not about protecting status quo for whites but rather to move towards a future that is completely racism intolerant by all participants
@mcuban Marc, go read Bill Ackman's letter wrt DEI and BLM, I think what you've done is yet again defended DEI and BLM based on what they should be but if you actually go and look at what they REALLY are you'll see that it bears little resembalance to anything logical.
@mcuban@therabbithole Mark - it's amazing that with your billionaire sized ego you can so easily defend racism as if its ok in some directions but not others... either racism is acceptable or its not, there really is no gray area.
@BillKristol You think that attitude is unique to Republicans-you have to be delusionally myopic to think that is true. Both Parties (look at their actions not their words) operate on a principal that party is more important than country.
The @nuggets plane just landed back in Denver and we were greeted at the airport with a massive ensemble of government officials, secret service agents and motorcycle cops.
I know that was an impressive win last night, but daaaang!
The current state of our political system necessitates change as neither party effectively serves the interests of the American people. Corruption fueled by donors and lobbyists has permeated both sides. It's important for the people to recognize that staying within these parties or expecting them to change on their own will not bring about the desired transformation. Instead, we must seize the opportunities within the political system itself to drive change. Protests and marches, although powerful expressions of discontent, have proven insufficient in creating lasting impact. It is through active engagement within the political system that we can foster the necessary change. By mobilizing our voices, advocating for reforms, and actively participating in the democratic process, we have the potential to reshape the political landscape and ensure a government that truly represents the interests of the people.
The US-led cabal of lunatics and warmongers recently concluded a meeting on their strategy to drag us into nuclear war. Not only did they shamelessly choose to meet at Hiroshima, a city that used to symbolize the world’s determination to prevent nuclear war, they glorified their hero Zelensky, who has shown that he is ready and willing to drag the world into Armageddon.
@zacstevens Don’t think there’s many (any?) fan bases in the nfl that would have been any kinder… no nfl fans will put up with a player that can’t hang on to the ball - especially in critical situations. It’s just an absolute deal killer
