@reduzio@grumpygamer@daedalic Disco Elysium does that too! I absolutely love it, such a perfect solution to that problem. Seeing it in both, then learning about the Deponia port makes me wonder how many other games use the feature and where they each got the idea.
@reduzio hi Juan, I'm an outsider to the world of FOSS and have always been curious: are there often multiple different "versions" of a codebase? for example, if a game studio radically reshapes Godot to serve their own needs, can they make their version publicly available as a fork?
@unity3d when I click those three dots on a GO with more than like 3 components, half the time I accidentally open a script with the same mouse click. can we please just have a blank space there or implement a "click cooldown" on that button or something?

a group of game dev professionals simulating a technology argument. it's entertaining, but also interesting because it has
- more breadth of perspective than a traditional lecture
- more depth of content/structure than a roundtable
...as well as it seems to work for a talk about compromise and dialogue. the form definitely follows the function in this case, but it made me curious about other applications
