like, what do you mean people are saying that once that happens, we’ll suddenly have more job opportunities? ai literally replaces real people’s jobs. just look at it now eh ai vids, ai art, ai music, fake news, edited photos and people are already misusing it. if ngayon pa lang hirap na gamitin nang maayos, what makes you think it’s going to turn out good?

philippines is already dealing with unstable resources jusko may scheduled power outages dahil kulang ang supply, mataas ang electricity bills, at maraming areas ang may limited or even no water access. if ngayon pa lang hirap na, what more if dagdagan pa natin ng demand?

kaya let’s be honest. hindi equal ang benefits. it’s ALWAYS BIG COMPANIES that GAIN THE MOST, while vulnerable communities deal with the impact.

kasi hindi lang dapat “may kita ngayon,” dapat sustainable din long-term, at hindi kapalit ang basic needs ng mga pilipino.

at the end of the day, yang mga negosyante na yan sila lang ang makikinabang at yayaman, habang yung ordinaryong tao ang laging magsu-suffer. walang bago diyan. they will always see these things as a business.

kasi for them, it’s always about PROFIT over PEOPLE. kahit sino pa ang maapektuhan workers, small communities, environment. secondary lang ‘yon basta may kita. habang sila nagkakamal ng pera, yung mga nasa baba ang sumasalo ng consequences.

so before we hype it up, let’s ask
progress for who? and at whose expense?
