@emilykmay $30/hr for two kids under three, high COL. They feed them dinner and put them to bed. Occasional date nights only (would try for lower rate otherwise). When we did nanny share with the baby for a few months, it was $28/hr for two infants.

@byHeatherLong Glad you are okay! I am wondering, did the doc recommend an extra night *because* your blood pressure spiked? Or were you doing fine before they recommended it? I only stayed 2 nights (and other parents were trying to get out sooner bc of covid), scary to think about.

@hels Lots of people have said Merrell, but I will never pass up an opportunity to recommend them. Good arch support, roomy toes, waterproof, pretty cute. I have older versions of the Shiloh Buff 2 (short with heel) and Andover Peak (tall/flat).

The first time I heard "defund the police" I was like "huh, but how would that work?" then I googled it and read and listened to what a bunch of folks were saying. You don't have to be reactionary, defensive, hear one thing that scares you and just hide. GOOGLE IS FREE!!

@christyfrink We actually had a lot of trouble getting through Ken Burns' country music series, not because it was long, but because you couldn't skip through the bank commercial that featured this song before every episode.
