A 1-3 for @sevenbarrows!
Thewoodcorner found plenty in the closing stages, kicking clear of his rivals to score in ready fashion under @james_bowen_...
@92RoryF Me neither, but I was lucky enough to see him at Seven Barrows late last year. The kindest face in the yard and I’ll never forget the moment I saw him - he was special.
The decision is helping to protect his life. We can all make our own choices regarding risk. Horses can’t. They trust us to choose for them. It wasn’t just the number of falls, it was the nature of them. There was pattern recognition across his races that indicated a danger to his life. Connections have shown him great respect and chosen wisely. He was such a happy horse on Friday night. He really enjoyed himself and had his mojo back. I can totally see the other side of the coin but I do think it is the correct decision. The horse has to come first.

Michael Buckley and I have not surprisingly spent a lot of time soul searching and thinking over Constitution Hills future and have sadly concluded that he will not be running in the Unibet Champion Hurdle the week after next.
Last Friday night was for us all a magical occasion and we so appreciated his popularity and the love and admiration everybody showed to Conrad , as he is fondly called here.
It was a terrific night for both him, us, and I believe British Horse Racing and we are very aware of the public perception and the possible consequences of running over hurdles and feel it is not fair to ask him and Nico to do it again.
He showed on Friday night that he has another career in front of him that could possibly take us all to new playing fields. I would like to thank the thousands of Constitution Hills supporters and admirers that have shared their sentiments with us and advice on how we should proceed, and I would have to say the poll was as near 50/50 as you could get.
This is a sad day for a lot of us, particularly the National Hunt fraternity that would have liked to have seen Constitution Hill try to regain his crown and sad for all here especially Nico who has spent so much time trying to iron out our jumping issues.
However he leaves the jumping world sound & happy and ready for the next chapter. It has been a staggering journey so far and Michael has had to endure some dark days but of course enjoyed the enormous highs and thrills of an extraordinary horse.
Cheltenham have kindly invited Constitution Hill to parade on Champion Hurdle day to give all his National Hunt supporters the opportunity to say goodbye.
Nicky Henderson confirmed to @TomAbbottSSR that Seven Barrows will foot the veterinary bill for Sprinter Sacre.
"I didn't realise what was going on until the middle of last night. It's been done, it's a very simple procedure. I told them to send the bill to me yesterday."
Sir Gino was transferred from Cheltenham to the Three Counties Veterinary Clinic and following scans and x-rays he does have a fractured pelvis but having spoken to the great team that are caring for him they are hopeful that although this is obviously significant they have reported that he is comfortable and stable. This is great news to us all. The prognosis is guarded and further examinations over the next few days while he is there will be able to determine the extent of the injury and any prognosis for the future. Thank you to everyone for their messages and concerns which are much appreciated and we will keep everyone up-to-date with any further news but the fact that he's comfortable tonight is the most important thing. Thank you

An update on Sir Gino…
Firstly, we would just like to say thank you for the absolutely amazing amount of well wishes following Sir Gino’s setback and admittance to the Equine hospital. It has been overwhelming that any horse could cause as much sentiment and it is much appreciated by us all.
Sir Gino remains under treatment and the veterinary team were pleased with how that went yesterday.
The situation does remain critical but he is comfortable and eating remarkably well under the circumstances. The medical attention will be ongoing for the foreseeable future and he is in the very best hands.
He has the potential to be one of the greats and hopefully with all fingers and toes crossed he still will be.
