Court is done for the day. I don’t think I’m underselling it to say Jim France’s testimony was shockingly bad so far. Just not good at all for NASCAR IMO.
This post currently has 1,200 responses. A great read.
Theme that stands out: “I’m good without any #nascar for a while.”
That’s not, as a sport, what you want your fans to be saying at the end of your season.
A change has to happen this offseason to get people excited again.
@jeff_gluck@Jordan_Bianchi needs to start his own sports or racing league. Maybe something “On Ice”
He can be the writer, producer, director, and reporter for whatever clown show he wants to see.
Get the takes out of NASCAR
@XXIV_Concept@daletanhardt@NASCAR I would say you are partially right. Phoenix as a championship race was a huge downgrade. So that affects it.
GWC shouldn’t exist.
But one of my biggest issues today was the fact that a tire issue overshadowed and drove the narrative around everything.
@XXIV_Concept@daletanhardt@NASCAR Yes, the race would have sucked if Hamlin won. I don’t remember a good race that didn’t have a manufactured finish at Phoenix.
@XXIV_Concept@daletanhardt@NASCAR Didn’t say he deserved to win because of it, I said it’s what made him the favorite to win. Not the broadcast.
Main point I was making to you, regardless of winner, the race sucked.
It had a manufactured exciting finish because of “overtime” that shouldn’t exist either
