JUST IN: ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ช Germany Gives Israel A Sixth โDoomsdayโ Submarine, It Can Carry Nuclear Capable Popeye Turbo Missiles
Israelโs newest and largest Dolphin class submarine, INS Drakon, is heading toward Israel after transiting Germanyโs Kiel Canal under heavy security.
The submarine is capable of carrying the Popeye Turbo submarine launched cruise missile, with open source estimates placing its range at around 1,500 km.
The missile is widely assessed as potentially nuclear capable, although Israel has never officially confirmed its nuclear arsenal or the weapons carried by its submarines.
๐ INS Drakon would give Israel another highly survivable platform for long range strategic deterrence beneath the sea.
