Yeah Iโd love to spend $150 on tickets to watch a 2 hour race
This is literally exactly why I havenโt gone to the Indy race at NSS.
NASCAR races are ENDURANCE RACES. Thatโs a huge part of their allure.

@garygastelu I could be interested by one if there was a hybrid or ICE offering. Full EV is simply pointless for this form factor for many many markets
@dennyhamlin@ericmyers_19 "4 hours of anything is too long"
and
"Stages are needed for TV"
Are opposing statements. I don't agree, but if 4 hours IS too long, we save 20 minutes per race with the stroke of a pen if we ditch stages. Otherwise, you want to take more track time away from the paying fan
Okay, so outside of the absurd stipulation you laid out (we can just ignore history altogether frankly), NHMS is the last track serving the NE on the schedule, pulling from massive Boston and NY markets. Itโs a challenging, unique track with tons of lanes that puts on a compelling show, and allows the tour modifieds a chance to run a support show on a huge stage, where a lot of the biggest names in the sport cut their teeth (Baldwin, Nadeau, Hirschman, Stefanik, Bodine, Preece).
Add to that the history of the track, itโs a cornerstone of the calendar. It would leave as big a hole as removing a place like Atlanta or Richmond.
Only a fool would even surmise otherwise.
