@JakeFleshner WAP portal.
Because serving Nokia 3330 users that know how to use a custom gateway in markets that still has 2G network could possibly somehow theoretically generate profits.

After 1 month of fun this feels ready for public use: https://t.co/83ScZf4qYZ (supports WML, WMLScript and WBMP)
It IS vibe coded so I can't take much credit for the 3000+ lines of JavaScript but I do take credit for 1 month of tests, reading specs and so on. ;-)
@mitchellh@awesomekling Thanks! I should probably add a disclaimer to all my SerenityOS related sites. I guess when hanging out in a smaller community the assumption is that only other people in the community are interested in a site that tracks emoji coverage and they all know who runs what site... :^)
@pizzelpodcast@KeithBroni@Emojipedia That is correct, Pixel Brush has made a bunch of really awesome emoji the last few days and these are not on Emojipedia yet.
I want to thank @KeithBroni at @Emojipedia for making this happen. It took 23 emails over 18 months to make this a reality. It's so sweat to finally have our set on my primary source of emoji information!
The SerenityOS pixel art emojis are finally on @Emojipedia!

I drew the first handful of our emojis in GIMP on a commuter train back in 2019. Since then, a group of people led by @_xexxa_ have continued filling out almost the entire Unicode emoji set! 🤯
@furtidev@awesomekling@Emojipedia Please share it if you do! I started working on something similar to a game but lost interest! (https://t.co/WvPiObmcAR)
@awesomekling@Emojipedia Nobody asked but just to be clear; only our RGI emoji has been added to Emojipedia! We also have tag sequence flags for places like North Rhine-Westphalia, Grand Cape Mount, Nelson and Coclé. We also have a bunch of PUA emoji for people who likes yaks and a few fun ZWJ flags.

@filiphsandstrom I'm drinking beer and making emoji. I guess drinking beer + literally anything could be described as male self-care.
When thinking about, we could probably just skip the "anything" part and just drink beer 😂
@awesomekling Well, when the project goals are basically having fun and build something for ourself, how do you measure time on nonsense? I'm sure it's getting a bit weird with employees... 😬
SerenityOS emoji update (July 2023):
» After 3 months without new emoji we are back.
» 82 emoji added (77 by me, 2 by @squeek502 and 3 in collaboration between me and @squeek502)

» Only 280 emoji missing now (not including skin tone modifier variants)
@awesomekling It depends on the trade-offs... I don't mind a quirks mode but if the only goal is having a browser behave in the same non-standard way as a competing browser then why not just use the competing browser?
