i hate to say but financial stability allows you to be romantic and love properly. being broke keeps you in a survival mode and leaves you with little time or energy for romance.
You spend so much time trying to be an unhealed person’s safe space and show them that you can be trusted and they can let their guard down while disregarding that you need a safe space too and they’re not even attempting to create one. They’re acting like they’re the only one with history or wounds.
I think a woman becomes more magnetic as she becomes more specific. Specific tastes. Specific desires. Specific pleasures. Specific boundaries. It is so alluring to be a woman whose life could only belong to her.
Gotta STAY CLEAR of folks who don't value the small sacrifices you make... like spending money you barely got, pulling up when you tired, giving advice, carrying their problems, or being the one who always checks in first. Some people only love the benefits, never the person. They'll use your energy just to go pour it into everybody but the one who's actually helping them.
someone said "if you don't let people experience the consequences of their actions towards u, you will remain a safe place for their worst behavior" and I couldn't agree more
your relationship with yourself cannot be built entirely around improvement. at some point, you have to become someone you are allowed to enjoy being. you get to be proud of who you are. present tense
Drake recreated the “Headlines” scene with a lot of the same people, but this time most of them are wearing suits. The whole team evolved from hungry kids around the city into successful businessmen, managers, executives, label owners. They’re all rich.
Apparently sources are saying Drake received over 2 billion private equity after becoming a free agent. After he released 3 albums in one night Drake fulfilled his UMG obligations. See Drake has been having issues with his record label and Drake has sued them over defamation. So releasing 3 albums fulfilled his obligations with them. He recently received a 2 billion offer from a private equity firm that would allow him retain all ownership of his music. If this deal happens he will be the richest musician in history.
