@InseinAngel @GraeFlowerSWL @thamynadamus It’s rare to see us in the flesh, even excluding necromancers alone, to be fair. Especially a Bee, like me, getting to stay behind in a lab and fight against the Filth that way, instead of physically.

@InseinAngel @GraeFlowerSWL @thamynadamus And that’s a sentiment I share, ethical concerns with use of magic like this. Pandemics and epidemics are serious things, experimenting the wrong way with things (as I know secret societies are wont to do) could be catastrophic.

@InseinAngel @GraeFlowerSWL @thamynadamus For me, it’s hard to say, not having magic to cast to study things, but I would wager that bringing denatured DNA together to be possible, but not an easy thing to do. Any mistakes change the dna entirely, and any number of problems occur, should it even function as it used to.

@GraeFlowerSWL @thamynadamus @InseinAngel Fungal vaccines are still only in clinical trials and therefore not available to the public. Your subset includes, then, only bacterial vaccines that are killed and injected themselves, like Hep B, for example, which are, generally, treatable conditions.

Bacterial vaccines are also made like this, & as they’re alive, they would be targets for reanimating, yes. However, many bacteria cause illnesses by creating toxins, and it’s a purified version of the toxin in the vaccine

@DebbiFish Due to some atypical occurrences surrounding the time my bee came to me, I’ve learned that I’m capable of “absorbing” (for lack of a better term) offensive magic or anima directed at me.
Of course, this wreaks havoc on any magic I try to use, as it expends it, there.

@MorrisTSW @SiaStP @drinkJohannessy I can say that I’m just the latter. And sometimes not even that. Any decent enough hit to wound me even moderately, I’ll end up being pulled back to an anima well. Not even things that spell death

@MorrisTSW @SiaStP @drinkJohannessy I’ve heard and understand the type of magic, yes, even though I can’t do it myself. Theoretically, yes, it may be possible; I can’t think of any reasons why it wouldn’t be, but I only practice biology and microbiology, so I can’t claim to be an expert on magic
